Swimming & Diving Seasons Come to Close at SUNYAC Championships
BUFFALO, NY—Buffalo State concluded its seasons tonight with the culmination State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championships at the Erie Community College Flickinger Aquatic Center in downtown Buffalo. The Bengals men finished eighth of nine teams, and the women were ninth.
On the men’s side, Tim Harroun (Tonawanda/ Tonawanda) placed seventh (2:17.85) in the 200-yard breast, and Kevin Buisman (Penfield/ Penfield) was 15th (2:21.34) in the same event. Scott Banks (N. Tonawanda/ Niagara Wheatfield) touched ninth (2:06.79) in the 200-yard butterfly. Nick Weigand (Lancaster/Lancaster) was 15th in the 1,650-yard free (18:06.18).
The women did not have any individuals swim in the evening session.
