Taglienti Inks Pro Football Contract to Play in Sweden
Buffalo State's Perry Taglienti (Lancaster/Lancaster) signed a professional football contract to play the upcoming season with the Stockholm Mean Machines, the defending Swedish Champions and members of the European Federation of American Football.
Taglienti, a criminal justice major, played just his senior season at Buffalo State. A First Team All-Atlantic Central Football Conference selection, he was second in the conference with 109 tackles, becoming the first Bengal to surpass the 100-tackle plateau since 2000. He was also second on the team with 13 tackles for loss.
The linebacker will report to training camp in Stockholm on March 30. The Mean Machines will open their 2005 season on April 30.
