Talented Artists Participate in Fine Arts Student Exhibition
Members of the Buffalo State community and the public perused the collection of stunning paintings, charcoal drawings, printmaking photographs, and sculptures included the Fine Arts Student Exhibition during an evening reception March 6 in Upton Hall's Czurles-Nelson Gallery.
During the reception, the Fine Arts Department recognized students who have demonstrated excellence and promise in their field.
The announced winners:

Art History: Mackenzie Loftis, Outstanding Achievement in Art History; and Nicole Schmidt, recipient of the R. Steven Janke Memorial Award Fund for Art History

Nine students also received Hyatt Awards: Chelsea Kettle, art history; Casey Perdziak, drawing; Joseph Giardina, painting; Allison Orzeszek, photography; Joyce Cromwell, Plein Aire; Gregory Valezquez, printmaking; Patrick Anhalt, sculpture; Cori Barlow, figure drawing; and Jeremiah Kirby, mixed media.
