A "Tour" of Africa, March 20

Join the Pan African Students Organization for a celebration of African culture, Saturday, March 20, 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. in the Campbell Student Union Assembly Hall.

A Tour of Africa will feature craft making sessions, music, and ethnic food. Admission is $2.

"Pulse of Africa," a cultural showcase of traditional and modern African attire, performances by Afrik Dancers and Step Expressions, and comedian Michael Blackson, will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Social Hall.

Blackson, dubbed the African King of Comedy, has appeared on HBO's Bad Boys of Comedy and Def Comedy Jam and BET's Comicview. Born in Ghana, Blackson moved to the United States at the age of 13. The comedian uses his experiences as a Ghanaian-American in his stand-up routines.

The Pan African Students Organization's purpose is to educate people of all ethnicities about African culture, traditions, and politics.
