Track and Field Athlete John Lesure
Jumper and sprinter John Lesure (Rochester/Greece-Athena) was named Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.
Lesure captured a pair of first place finishes in the first outdoor meet of the season, at the Ithaca Invitational. He continued his impressive rookie season by winning the long jump (6.05m) and the triple jump (12.44m) competitions.
