Track and Field Athlete Ken Ciolek
Track and field athlete Ken Ciolek (Limestone/Bradford Area) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.
Ciolek won a pair of SUNYAC Championships this past weekend, helping the Bengals to a sixth place finish. Ciolek won the long jump, leaping 22’9”, and won Saturday's javelin competition with a throw of 172”. He also tied for fourth in the high jump, clearing 6’.
A sophomore psychology major, Ciolek will lead the Bengals efforts at the NYSCTC Championships at the University of Rochester this weekend.
