Track and Field Post Pair of Seconds at Ohio Northern Invite

Buffalo State's indoor track and field teams competed at the Ohio Northern Invite tonight and both the men and the women placed second of four teams.

James Howze (Amherst/Sweet Home) led the Bengals with a pair of first-place finishes in the 800m (2:05.14) and in the 1500m run (4:22.18) Other individual victories were submitted by Justin Muise (Kenmore/Kenmore West) (300m/35.75), Dan Hargrave (Dansville/Dansville) (5000m/16:44.91), Tim Giagos (Rochester/Gates-Chili) (500m/1:09.61), and Matt Kubiak (Lakeview/Frontier) (1000m/2:37.79). Rob Kozlowski (Elma/Iroquois) set a school record in the 35-pound weight throw with a toss of 13.24m.

On the women's side, Linda Williams (Rochester/Edison Tech) earned a victory in the 55m dash (7.50), and Jackie Kirsch (E. Aurora/E. Aurora) won the triple jump, with distance of 9.74m (31'11.5").
