Men's track athlete Mario Hicks (Corning/ Corning West) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week. The senior English major posted an NCAA provisional qualifying time in the 55-meter hurdles in 7.62 seconds, placing fourth at the ECAC Championships. Hicks is the school's record holder in the event with a time of 7.49 seconds.
