Track & Field Competes at Case Western Spartan Relays
CLEVELAND, OH—Mario Hicks (Corning/ Corning West) posted an NCAA qualifying time in the 55-meter hurdles as Buffalo State’s indoor track and field teams competed today at the Case Western Reserve University Spartan Relays.
Hicks placed second in the event with a time of 7.66. LaVonne Barfield (Rochester/ Wilson Magnet) captured first place in the triple jump (10.34m), and Tenisha Jones (Rochester/ Wilson Magnet) won the long jump (4.61m). Jenelle Orosz (N. Tonawanda/N. Tonawanda) also won the high jump (1.52m).
Dana Migliorino (N. Tonawanda/N. Tonawanda) also set a new school record in the pole vault, finishing third, clearing 2.75m.
Buffalo State will return to action next Saturday at RIT.
