The Buffalo State and Western New York communities have two opportunities to hear performances from stellar musicians in separate performances in Rockwell Hall on Friday, November 7.

In the Louis P. Ciminelli Recital Hall, William Kanengiser, one of America’s most outstanding guitarists and founding member of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, will perform on at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10. Students are admitted for free. His act is part of the college’s Solo Concert Series.

Meanwhile, in the Performing Arts Center, nine-time All-Ireland Fiddle Champion and Grammy-Award winner Eileen Ivers and her band Immigrant Soul will present a night of Celtic music at 8:00 p.m. Presented by M&T Bank, Ivers’ performance is part of the college’s Great Performers Series. Tickets are $35 for the lower tier; $30 for the upper tier; $27 for seniors, Buffalo State faculty and staff; and $15 for students one hour prior to the show.

For both events, concert-goers can purchase tickets at the Rockwell Hall Box Office, online, or by phone (716) 878-3005.
