At approximately 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, a male Buffalo State student was the victim of an armed robbery in Lot T. The student—who suffered no injuries and declined medical attention—was walking to his vehicle while talking on a cell phone when he was approached by a white four-door vehicle, possibly an SUV, with four black males on board. One suspect exited the vehicle, flashed a small black hand gun, and demanded the victim’s wallet. The suspect, who is described as approximately 5-foot-8, average build with near shoulder length hair (possibly dreadlocks), fled in the vehicle, which was last seen heading off campus toward Elmwood Avenue.

University Police reminds all members of the campus community to always be aware of their surroundings, avoid walking alone at night, and practice these personal safety tips. Please report any suspicious activity immediately to University Police at ext. 6333.
