UPD Safety Advisory: Sexual Assault Reported in Moore Complex Saturday Morning (Updated)

A female Buffalo State student was the victim of a sexual assault at 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning while attending a party in Moore Complex, an on-campus apartment complex.  No description of the male suspect is available at this time.  The victim was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment and has been released.

Additional details of the incident will be posted to the Buffalo State website if they become available.

Update (October 6, 2:00 p.m.): University Police has identified a person of interest in the investigation and has questioned that individual.  The matter remains under active investigation.
