Urbanik and Hernandez Earn SUNYAC Hockey Honors
Buffalo State men's hockey players Joe Urbanik (Calumet City, IL) and Ricardo Hernandez (Eagle River, AK) were both selected the the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) All-Conference Second Team.
Urbanik, a senior forward, finished his career as Buffalo State's all-time leading scorer with 61 goals, 70 assists and 131 points. He led the Bengals this season with 18 goals and 25 points. Urbanik was third in the SUNYAC in goals and tied for sixth in points.
Hernandez, a senior defenseman, led all Bengals defensemen with 17 points. He finished tied for second in the SUNYAC for points by a defensemen, and set a Buffalo State record with 13 career goals.
