Buffalo State has named Amanda Uschold (Rochester/Brighton) and Jen Trees (Clear Lake, IA/Clear Lake) the captains for the 2004-05 women's hockey team.

Uschold, a junior forward, jumped out of the gate this past weekend, tallying nine points in a pair of Bengal wins to open the season. Trees, also a junior, is one of the anchors of the defensive corps. She has recorded eight assists in 47 career games.

Trees and Uschold will look to lead the Bengals back into the ECAC West playoffs for the third time in four seasons.
