Buffalo State's upcoming comedy showcase could easily have been called the "As Seen on TV Tour."

On Saturday, May 8, United Students Government (USG) presents a full roster of jokesters regularly seen on the small screen. Aries Spears, Finesse Mitchell, and Eric Schwartz, perform as part of USG's Comedy Show, Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center at Rockwell Hall.

Hailing from the comedy proving grounds of Chicago, Aries Spears first drew widespread national attention as a member of the ensemble cast on Fox's Mad TV. Since leaving the show in 2005, Spears has been a regular on the stand-up circuit. Comedian Finesse Mitchell (pictured) appeared on Saturday Night Live from 2003 to 2006. While best-known for his stint on the famed television skit program, Mitchell's work as an emcee, actor, and author has recently come into focus.

Buffalo State students can buy two tickets per ID at $5 each. General admission is $15 per ticket. Tickets are available at the Rockwell Hall and Student Union box offices.

For more ticket and event information, contact the Performing Arts Center at Rockwell Hall box office at (716) 878-3005.
