SUNY Buffalo State's United Students Government (USG) is serving up a mix of comedy, thrills, and chills with its Spring Movie Series.

As part of the series, one movie a month will be shown on Thursdays throughout the semester in the Campbell Student Union. All students are invited to attend. Popcorn will be provided.

The series begins with Bad Grandpa on Thursday, January 30, at 6:00 p.m. in the Social Hall and will be followed by Last Vegas on February 20 at 6:00 p.m. in the Game Room; Hunger Games: Catching Fire on March 13 at 9:00 p.m. in the Social Hall; Ride Along on April 24 at 6:00 p.m. in the Game Room; and Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones on May 1 at 6:00 p.m. in the Game Room.

"USG provides a free movie series to give students an opportunity to see newly released movies without having to leave campus," said Noah Puukila, USG administrative vice president of student life. "Students get to enjoy a fun activity with their friends and have a chance to meet new people."

The movie series is funded through the mandatory student activity fee.
