John Travolta, Queen Latifah, and Al Pacino will all make appearances at Buffalo State this semester. Well, they won’t actually be on campus, but they will be starring in the United Students Government (USG) Fall Movie Series.
Throughout the semester, USG will be screening movies at 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center at Rockwell Hall. The first film in the series is the ever-popular musical Grease, on Monday, September 11.
Additional films in the series include Spiderman Homecoming (September 25); Scarface (October 2); Girls Trip (October 23); IT (November 30, shown in the Campbell Student Union Social Hall); and Elf (December 4).
Student admission is free and general admission for non-students is $5. Student tickets can be obtained in advance at the Rockwell or Union box offices or at Rockwell Hall at the time of the show. General admission tickets can be purchased in advance at the box offices or online from the Performing Arts Center.
In addition to the Fall Movie Series, USG has many other exciting events planned this semester, including a roller skate party in the Plaza, the always popular Paint Nights, special Homecoming festivities, and a Breast Cancer Awareness Fashion Show. These events are funded by the mandatory student activity fee.
