Volleyball Defeats RIT, 3-1
Buffalo State (14-20) finished up their home schedule today with a 3-1 victory over RIT. Krista Wierzbicki (Cheektowaga/Maryvale), Vicky Manos (Cheektowaga/Cheektowaga), Denise Jedynak (Hamburg/Frontier), and Phaelyn Koch (Farmington/Victor Central) were all honored before the game as a part of Senior Night.
The Bengals charged out of the gate winning the first game 30-21, but RIT would come back and take the second game from the Bengals 30-25. Buffalo State would not be denied on Senior Night, winning the next two games, 30-27 and 30-26 respectively.
The Bengals wrap up their 2003 season on October 31, and November 1 when they will be on the road to play in the Carnegie Mellon Invitational.
