Volleyball Loses Twice to Open RIT Invite
Buffalo State (0-12) lost a pair of three-game matches today at the RIT Invite, falling to the host school and Fredonia.
RIT topped the Bengals in the opener by scores of 30-9, 30-18 and 30-23. Sam Damstetter (W. Seneca/W. Seneca East) had 11 digs for the Bengals. Nicole Gurski (E. Amherst/Williamsville North) had 18 assists, and Jen Breier (Grand Island/Grand Island) added six kills and eight digs. Fredonia defeated Buffalo State in the late match, 30-10, 30-15 and 30-18.
Buffalo State will look for its first win tomorrow in the consolation round of the RIT Invite.
