Volleyball Player Krista Wierzbicki
Volleyball player Krista Wierzbicki (Maryvale) was named Buffalo State's Athlete of the Week.
Wierzbicki paced the Bengals to three victories this week as she recorded 96 assists in nine games. She added 25 digs, seven aces and five blocks as Buffalo State extended its winning streak to eight matches. She was the SUNYAC Player of the Week last week. Buffalo State will play at Geneseo this weekend in the second round of SUNYAC Pool Play.
