Volleyball Splits at Plattsburgh Classic
Buffalo State was defeated by Hartwick, 0-3, but beat Maritime, 3-0, today at the Plattsburgh Classic.
Against Hartwick, the Bengals went 30-14, 30-29, and 30-28. Sam Damstetter (W. Seneca/W. Seneca East) had nine kills and 16 digs. Keri Bumgardner (Babylon/W. Babylon) tallied seven kills and three serving aces.
Later in the day, playing Maritime, Buffalo State went 30-7,30-2, and 30-7. Damstetter had 15 serving aces and 10 digs. Bumgardner had nine kills, 13 serving aces, and four digs.
Keri Bumgardner made the All-Tournament Team. Nicole Gurski (East Amherst/Williamsville North) was Honorable Mention.
Buffalo State will compete against D'Youville on Tuesday, October 11th, at 7 p.m. in the Sports Arena.
