The Buffalo State College Alumni Association invites you to enjoy lots of smiles at Wine Weekend, June 6 and 7, 2008.

Join us on Friday, June 6, for the Third annual "A Toast to the City" Wine Tasting, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Marcy Casino in Delaware Park. Taste wines from Chateau Buffalo and Southern Wine, and sample food provided by the Seneca Niagara Casino, Sample Restaurant, and more. Enjoy live music and take in the view from this unique and historic location. Proceeds benefit the Burchfield-Penney New Museum Project. The cost is $30 presale and at the door. Reservations are recommended.

On Saturday, June 7, enjoy a Niagara Wine Trail Tour from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Meet the bus at Cleveland Circle on the Buffalo State campus. Free parking is available in lot C and along Rockwell Road. Coming from Niagara County? Ask about a pick-up location closer to you. Gray Line Tours will be your guide for this excursion, which begins with a visit to Vizcarra Vineyards at Becker Farms. Sample some of their 20 different red, white, and fruit wines and try their homemade pie, jam, and fudge. Then it’s off to Lockport Canalside for a delicious buffet lunch on the banks of the Erie Canal. Two more winery visits follow with tastings, unique gift shops, cheeses, and chocolates. The cost is $40 and includes transportation, tastings, lunch, and the services of a driver/guide(Driver gratuity is not included).
