Women's Basketball Evens Record; Tops Pitt-Bradford, 77-57
BRADFORD, Pa.--Shareese Hamer (Erie, PA/ Strong Vincent) had 19 points and 11 rebounds as Buffalo State (3-3) raced past host Pitt-Bradford (1-5), 77-57, tonight in a non-conference match-up.
Lindsay Smith (Ithaca/ Ithaca) added 13 points and Cat Ejimadu (Buffalo/Bennett) and Alyssa Kinney (Medford/Bellport) scored 11 each for the Bengals.
Buffalo State never trailed, leading 42-26 at the half and by as many as 27 in the second period. The Bengals got a season-best 19 points off the bench.
Buffalo State will return to conference play on Friday at Cortland.
