BUFFALO, NY—Katy Irving (Olean/Olean) hit a 15-foot jumper with 25 seconds remaining and Geneseo (14-7/9-4) survived a scare from Buffalo State (7-15/4-9), winning 51-49, tonight in a SUNYAC contest at the Sports Arena.

Geneseo led 23-19 at halftime, despite 15 first-half turnovers. The Blue Knights held their biggest lead of the game at 49-38 with 5:35 remaining in the second stanza, but Buffalo State mounted an 11-0 run to finally even the score at 49-49 with 41 seconds to play. Toya Parks (Brooklyn/MLK) led Buffalo State with 17 points, four assists and five steals. Darnika Moseley (Liverpool/Liverpool) added 11 points and six boards.
