FREDONIA, NY—Buffalo State’s (6-14/3-8) road to the SUNYAC postseason became a bit more precarious tonight as host Fredonia (8-10/4-8) never trailed on route to an 84-72 victory.

Jacey Brooks (Machias/Franklinville) led Buffalo State with 18 points and six rebounds. Shareese Hamer (Erie, PA/Strong Vincent) poured in 16 points and collected nine rebounds. Toya Parks (Brooklyn/MLK) and Gina Apa (Buffalo/McKinley) added 13 and 10 points respectively.

Fredonia led from the beginning and owned a 38-26 advantage at halftime. The Blue Devils led by as many as 18 points in the second period and cruised to the win. Fredonia dominated in the paint, outrebounding the Bengals, 48-28, and outscoring them inside by a 36-20 margin.

Buffalo State will look to get back on track next Tuesday at Brockport at 6 p.m.
