Women's basketball player Jacey Brooks (Machias/Franklinville) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.

The junior foward tallied 17 points and eight rebounds in a loss at St. John Fisher. She also registered a pair of blocked shots. Brooks needs just 11 points to reach 500 for her career.
