Women's Basketball Sprints Past Potsdam, 73-33
BUFFALO, NYBuffalo State (6-8/4-2) led 40-9 at halftime and never looked back as it cruised to a 73-33 victory over Potsdam (3-11/1-6) today at the Sports Arena.
Buffalo State received scoring from 11 different players, led by Jacey Brooks' (Machias/Franklinville) 15 points. Desi Gibson (Rochester/Edison Tech) scored 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Monique Hanks (Liverpool/Liverpool) scored 10 points and pulled down nine boards and had five steals, and Darnika Moseley (Liverpool/Liverpool) added 10 points.
Kate Kaczmerek (Webster, MA/Bartlett) led the Bears with 12 points and six rebounds.
Buffalo State will return to action Tuesday night when it travels to Brockport. Potsdam will host Oswego on Tuesday night.
