Women's Hockey Blanked by Bethel, 3-0

Buffalo State fell to 12-14-1 overall after dropping a 3-0 non-conference game to Bethel College today at the Buffalo State Ice Arena.

For the second consecutive afternoon Bethel got on the board first with one second remaining on the clock in the first period to go up 1-0. After a scoreless second period, Bethel's Heidi Govednik scored a powerplay goal to put the Royals up 2-0. Bethel would add an empty net goal at the end of the game to finish the scoring at 3-0. Senior goaltender Mary Keddie (Williamsville/Buffalo Bisons) made 31 stops for the Bengals.

Buffalo State will be on the road for a pair of away games at New England College next Saturday and Sunday.
