Women's Hockey Blanked at Plattsburgh
Buffalo State dropped its ECAC West season opener at Plattsburgh by a 4-0 count today.
The Cardinals scored one in the first period and three in the second en route to the victory. Plattsburgh outshot the Bengals 48-9. Shannon Anesetti (Cannonsburg, PA/Caron-McMillan) made 44 saves for Buffalo State.
The Bengals fell to 2-3-1 overall and 0-1-0 in conference play. The same two teams will meet again in Plattsburgh tomorrow at 2 p.m.
