Women's Hockey Blanked by St. Mary's, 4-0
Buffalo State dropped to 2-17-1 after losing 4-0 today at home against St. Mary's University. The Cardinals improved to their record to 12-7-1 with the win.
The two teams played almost 19 minutes without a goal but the Cardinals scored the game's first goal with 1:19 remaining in the first period. St. Mary's would add two goals in the second and a goal in the third finish the scoring at 4-0. Rachel Harrison would lead the Cardinals in scoring with three points, coming on a goal and two assists. Bengal freshman Crissy Michalek (West Seneca/Buffalo Saints) made 38 saves as Buffalo State was outshot 42-8 in the contest.
Buffalo State will host St. Mary's tomorrow at the Buffalo State Ice Arena for at 5:00 p.m. game.
