OSWEGO, NY—Freshman Marissa McMullan (Haileybury, ON) scored late, and Shannon Anesetti (Canonsburg, PA) made 20 saves as Buffalo State (6-11-3/4-9-2) blanked host Oswego (8-13-1/3-10-0), 1-0, in an ECAC West game today at Campus Center.

McMullan netted an unassisted goal after a scramble for the puck with just 4:37 remaining in the game to finally break the scoreless deadlock. Anesetti recorded her fifth career shutout to preserve the win. Buffalo State outshot the Lakers, 24-20.

Buffalo State will face Oswego again tomorrow at 3 p.m.
