PITTSBURGH, Pa.—Shannon Anesetti (Canonsburg, PA/ Canon-McMillan) made 28 saves for her first shutout of the season as Buffalo State (5-7-3/3-7-2) defeated host Chatham (1-18/1-11), 3-0, in an ECAC West game today.

Alex Papineau (Stoney Pointe, ON/ St. Anne) and Annemarie Puleo (Tonawanda, NY/ Kenmore East) each scored their first collegiate goals for the Bengals. Marissa McMullan (Haileybury,ON) also scored.

Buffalo State outshot the Cougars, 59-28.

Buffalo State will host the nation’s No. 3-ranked Plattsburgh Cardinals for a pair of league games this Saturday and Sunday.
