Women's Hockey defeated by Neumann, 4-1
BUFFALO, NY - The Buffalo State women's hockey team (3-7-1/0-4), were defeated by the Neumann Knights, 4-1, today, at Buffalo State Ice Arena.
Sophomore defenseman Mary Cohen (Ann Arbor, MI/Little Caesars) scored the lone goal for the Bengals. Junior Mallory Nutting (Gardiner, ME/Gardiner High School) and sophomore Samantha Simpson (Fairbanks, AK/UW Superior), had the assists.
Goaltender Shannon Anesetti (Cannonsburg, PA/Erie Lady Lions) made 29 saves.
The Bengals next game will be against Connecticut College, on January 13th at 4 p.m., at the Buffalo State Ice Arena.
