Women's Hockey Falls 2-0 in Exhibition Game
Buffalo State fell 2-0 in an exhibition game against the Buffalo Bisons (club) at the Ice Arena earlier today.
The Bisons opened the scoring in the first period off a goal by Gen Laing and clinched the insurance goal on an empty net in the closing seconds of the game. The Bisons out shot the Bengals 27-14. Shannon Anesetti (Cannonsburg, PA/Caron-McMillan) made 10 saves and Meredith Larsen (Ann Arbor, MI/Pioneer) registered 15 saves in the contest.
The Bengals return to the ice Saturday, Nov. 6 at 4 p.m. when they face the Red Dragons of Cortland at the Ice Arena.
