Women's Hockey Falls at Cortland, 7-2
CORTLAND, NY--Buffalo State (2-3-1) suffered a 7-2 loss today at Cortland in a non-conference match-up.
The Bengals fell behind 4-0 before Leah Eyerman (Mountaintop, PA/Wyoming Sem.) put Buffalo State on the scoreboard with her second of the season. Jamie Overbeck (Tonawanda/Kenmore East) added the lone assist on the goal. Cortland responded with three more goals in the third period, however, before Buffalo State's Abby Greenbaum (Kittaning/Nat. Sports Acad.) tallied her second goal of the year, with assists from Nicole Muszynski (Southgate, MI/Southgate Anderson) and Mary Cohen (Ann Arbor, MI/Pioneer).
Buffalo State will open its home schedule on Wednesday against RIT at 7 p.m.
