BUFFALO, NY--Buffalo State could not overcome an early 3-0 deficit today, as Robert Morris (Ill.) defeated the Bengals, 5-1, today in an exhibition game at the Ice Arena.

The Bengals trailed 3-0 entering the second period, before Leah Eyerman (Mountaintop, PA/Wyoming Sem.) got Buffalo State on the scoreboard with a power play goal from Courtney Wagner (Connellsville, PA/Connellsville) and Nicole Bennett (Fremont, CA/American). The Eagles scored twice more in the third period to ice the game.

Buffalo State will travel to Elmira for a pair of ECAC West games next Saturday and Sunday.
