Women's hockey player Shannon Anesetti (Canonsburg, PA/ Canon-McMillan) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week. The senior goaltender was unbeatable as the Bengals locked up an ECAC West playoff position, making 48 saves in a pair of 1-0 shutouts at Oswego. Anesetti, an earth sciences major, stopped all 20 shots faced on Friday and made 28 saves on Saturday. She now has six career shutouts.
