Women's hockey player Shannon Anesetti (Canonsburg, PA/ Canon-McMillan) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week. The senior goalie backstopped the Bengals to a win and a tie in their first action of 2008. Anesetti, an earth sciences major, made 22 saves in Friday's 4-2 win over Adrian, and had 26 stops in a 1-1 tie on Saturday. Anesetti has a .926 save percentage and a 2.20 goals against average this season.
