Women's hockey player Tara Ostempowski (Lancaster, NY) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.
The sophomore forward led the Bengals to a 5-2 victory over ECAC West-rival Chatham in Saturday's season finale. Ostempowski had a hand in all five Buffalo State goals, scoring twice and assisting on the other three.
