BUFFALO, NY—Hamilton Jr. AA (ON) netted the only goal in the middle of the second period to defeat host Buffalo State, 1-0, in an exhibition game today at the Ice Arena.

The Hawks outshot the Bengals 29-20. Shannon Anesetti (Canonsburg, PA/Canon-McMillan) made 28 saves in goal for the Bengals.

Buffalo State will next host the University of Rhode Island in a pair of exhibition contests on Friday and Saturday.
