Women's Lacrosse Blasts Medaille, 13-3
Buffalo State (6-0) sprinted past Medaille (2-4), 13-3, today in a non-conference battle at Coyer Field.
The Bengals jumped out to a 9-2 lead at the half, before cruising to the 10-goal victory. Ashley Parker (Watertown/Watertown) led the Bengals with three goals and two assists. Erin Silky (Liverpool/Liverpool) scored two goals and two assists. Rachael Galus (Hamburg/Frontier), Shantel Ackley (Baldwinsville/CW Baker) and Leah Bernal (Marilla/Iroquois) all added two goals for the Bengals, and Leah Colucci (Hamburg/Hamburg) and Jenn LoPresti (Tonawanda/Sweet Home) score one each. Kim Coleman (Syracuse/Corcoran) scored all three goals for Medaille. Buffalo State outshot Medaille, 32-8.
