WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.— Buffalo State (1-1) suffered its first defeat of the season at Lycoming (2-2), falling 18-13, in non-conference matchup today at Shangraw Athletic Complex.

Katie Henderson (Lakeview/ Hamburg) and Shantel Ackley (Baldwinsville/ CW Baker) led the Bengals with three goals apiece. Katie Lyons (Williamsville/ Williamsville North), Molly Seifritz (Syracuse/ Henninger) and Stephanie Georgopoulos (Pt. Jefferson Station/ Comsewogue) scored twice each, and Jennifer Tierney (Massapequa/ Massapequa) had a goal and an assist.

Buffalo State will return to action on its spring trip with a contest at Christopher Newport in Newport News, Va. on March 24 at 4 p.m.
