Women's Lacrosse Off To Its Best Start Ever

The Buffalo State women’s lacrosse team is off to its strongest start in program history at 6-0.

The Bengals opened their season in West Palm Beach, Fla. with a 16-6 victory over Div. II Franklin Pierce. Buffalo State also captured an exhibition win over the University of Miami before returning home, defeating the club team 16-5. The Bengals continued to dominate with a 13-5 win over Allegheny, before taking their first home win against RIT, 14-6. The Bengals returned to the road to edge out Elmira, 11-10, and SUNYAC-rival Fredonia, 9-8. Buffalo State picked up its sixth win of the season at home over Medaille, 13-3.

The Bengals hit the road for a non-conference game at Cazenovia this Friday at 4 p.m. before returning to SUNYAC -action at Oneonta on Saturday at 3 p.m.
