Women’s lacrosse player Chelsey Frail (Hilton/East Rochester) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.

Frail became the all-time leading scorer in Bengals' history last week with a career total of 95 points. The junior communication studies major scored two goals and one assist in the 13-5 victory at Allegheny College last Tuesday. The attacker also posted the same numbers against RIT in the Bengals’ 14-6 home-opener win this past Wednesday. She also added four goals and one assist, including the game-winner in the 11-10 win at Elmira on Thursday. Frail is averaging three points per game and 4.25 shots per game.

Buffalo State is currently 4-0 and will travel to Fredonia Tuesday to face the Blue Devils at 4 p.m. The Bengals will return home to take on Medaille this Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Coyer Field before they travel for a pair of games against Cazenovia and Oneonta this Friday and Saturday.
