Women's Lacrosse Set to Open SUNYAC Tournament against Brockport
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) officially announced the pairings for 2008 SUNYAC Women’s Lacrosse Championship Tournament to be held at top-seeded Cortland.
Buffalo State finished league play at 7-1 and is currently 9-3 overall and will enter tournament play as the No. 2 seed. The Bengals will open play on Friday at 3 p.m. against third-seeded Brockport. Buffalo State slipped past the Golden Eagles in Brockport during the regular season, winning 9-8 on an Erin Silky (Liverpool/Liverpool) goal with 43 seconds to go in the game.

Semifinal 1: #1 Cortland (12-5/8-0) vs. #4 Fredonia (11-5/4-4) – 12:30 p.m.
Semifinal 2: #2 Buffalo State (9-3/7-1) vs. #3 Brockport (11-3/6-2) – 3 p.m.
Saturday, May 3
Championship Game: Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2 – 12 Noon
