Women's Lacrosse Winning Streak Snapped at Oneonta

Buffalo State's (7-1/1-1) school-record seven-game winning streak was snapped today at Oneonta (2-6/2-1) with an 18-6 loss to the host Red Dragons.

Oneonta took a 12-2 lead by the intermission and cruised in the final 30 minutes. The Red Dragons outshot Buffalo State 45-21 for the game. Shantel Ackley (Baldwinsville/CW Baker) and Ashley Parker (Watertown/Watertown) scored two goals each for the Bengals. Chelsey Frail (Hilton/East Rochester) became first player in Buffalo State history with 100 career points with one goal in the game. Rachael Galus (Hamburg/Frontier) added the other goal for the Bengals.

Buffalo State will host Brockport on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
