Women's Soccer Blanks SUNYIT
Buffalo State's women's soccer team earned its first conference win of the season today with a 3-0 victory at SUNYIT.
The Bengals got scoring from three different players as Gina Monaco (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls), Lucy Bauda (W. Seneca/Orchard Park) and Rebecca Sommer (N. Tonawanda/N. Tonawanda) all found the back of the net. Bauda and Katie Zariczny (Great Valley/Ellicottville) each added assists. Jessica Bingerman (Great Valley/Ellicottville) made five saves for her first collegiate shutout.
Buffalo State is now 3-4-1 overall and 1-2 in SUNYAC play and will visit Cazenovia tomorrow at 12:00 noon.
