Women's Soccer Downs St. John Fisher in Season Finale
BUFFALO, NY--Senior Kelsie Moran (Albany/Albany) scored in her final collegiate game to give Buffalo State (7-11) a 1-0 victory over visiting St. John Fisher (4-11-1) in the Bengals' season finale today at Coyer Field.
Moran finally broke the scoreless tie in the 81st minute when she fired a shot into the upper right corner after receiving a pass from Mindy Wendt (Sanborn/Starpoint).
Buffalo State outshot St. John Fisher, 15-12, and had an 8-1 advantage in corner kicks. Meghan Jarrell (Hamburg/Hamburg) made three saves to preserve the shutout.
