Buffalo State returned back from Geneseo today on the losing end of a 4-0 decision. With the loss the Bengals drop to 2-3-0, 0-1 in the SUNYAC, the Blue Knights advanced to 3-2-3 overall and 1-0 in the SUNYAC with the win.

The Blue Knights jumped out to a 2-0 lead early, scoring both goals in the first 12 minutes of play. Geneseo would build on their lead in the second half, scoring goals in the 63rd and 89th minute of the contest. The Bengals were outshot 32-6 in the game. Junior goaltender Jessica Bingerman (Great Valley/Ellicottville) had nine saves for the Bengals.

The Bengals travel to Brockport tomorrow for a SUNYAC showdown at 1:00 pm.
