BUFFALO, NY—Geneseo (7-8-1/5-5-1) scored a pair of early goals and held host Buffalo State (6-11/4-7) in check for a 2-0 victory in the SUNYAC regular season finale today at Towers Field.

Buffalo State held a narrow 18-17 advantage in shots, but could not find the back of the Geneseo goal. Meghan Jarrell (Hamburg/Hamburg) made eight saves for Buffalo State.

The Bengals will wrap up the 2007 campaign with a non-conference game against St. John Fisher next Thursday at 3 p.m.
